Celebrate Safely
At Sri Annamalai Crackers, your safety is our top priority. Follow these expert-recommended guidelines to ensure a joyful, hazard-free festive experience for everyone.
Safe Handling Protocols
Simple, essential practices organized chronologically to follow during your celebrations.
1. Storage & Prep
Always store your firecrackers in a cool, dry place packed away from sources of heat or open flames. Keep them inside sealed boxes until the celebration begins to protect them from ambient moisture.
2. Safe Ignition
Always light fireworks in clear, open spaces far away from overhead electrical lines, dry grass, or parked vehicles. Use a long agarbatti (incense stick) to ignite them from a safe arm's length distance.
3. Safe Disposal
Never re-approach a cracker that failed to ignite right away. Wait at least 15-20 minutes, then douse the burnt or unburnt remnants thoroughly in a bucket of water before putting them in the garbage disposal bin.
